The youngest son from the de Valois family, Remont never accepted to grow in his brother's shadow and always tried to overtake his older brother, often endangering himself or his playmates.And everything just seemed to get worse as the boys grew older.
Not even his marriage to Isabelle d'Albon nor his brother's elopement on the sea didn't seem to temper the young baron's ambitions, while his new life in Paris and at the Royal Court only seemed to worsen his desire for recognition and favors.Ignoring his estranged wife, Remont got himself involved in a conspiracy against important names from the King's entourage.
Unfortunately for him, he was just an arrogant baron plotting against high names from the Kingdom, so his inadvertence during a ball at the Court was enough to seal his fate.
